Very First attempt.
15th October 2018
I thought this was great, but wanted much better.
Various shots of Jupiter aquired April / May 2019.
I waited until Jupiter was back in our side of suns orbit. It was much closer to earth, 45 degrees elevation above horizon.
The shots of Jupiter provided here represent the improvements over time, due to patience and learning. My first attempt yielded, what I thought was great. But I wanted better. Over time, the image quality improved. As I continue to learn, I am striving for even better and clearer images.

A very important thing to realise when doing astrophotgraphy, is that you can only image objects at certain months and times of each year, because our whole Galaxy rotates, and each and every object also rotates with it. Therefore we have to wait for certain times of the year to capture them. That is why weather conditions can have a very important role in whether or not some objects even get to be imaged at all in a particular year.
